I am interested in the primacy of vision and its relationship to our internal monologue. My practice uses form, color and often painted words to invoke thought and to mythologize life in the modern world. I usually work in series. Equally fluent with technology and the traditional tools of the artist, I believe that modernity and has hit a tipping point and that the revival of the both the hand and the eye of the artist in the work has returned to the dialog.
