Paintings about stars, the Universe and endings. The Nova Series is a set of circular based works named after supernova. These paintings were first exhibited in Chicago.
All of these canvas are painted in walnut oil—a natural alternative to linseed oil first formulated in the Renaissance. It is mentioned in the writings of Giorgio Vasari as yellowing less than linseed oil over time and requires no use of solvents.
